My cate hates you

If you do not own or have never been around cats, then maybe this won't be funny to you. But there's this book out called "Bad Cat." It has pictures that people sent to the author and then he comes up with funny captions. Some are gross and some are obscene, but some are downright hilarious. The cats like to get up high on this log and sit sometimes. There's really nowhere for them to go and it's about 6+ feet above the ground. But the other night they were sitting up there like statues or gate keepers. Goofy cats.

Yeah, we're still here...

Eric's been hounding me for a while to get our blog updated with some new pictures. We've been pretty busy lately. A few weekends ago we went back to east river for the last weekend of pheasant hunting. I decided to go out and walk with Eric and the other hunters. It was such good exercise -- we logged about 5 miles. But it wasn't any ordinary 5 miles. This was trudging through snow, brush, and cold. They got their limit minus one within the first few hours and then we spent the next 2 or 3 trying to get the very last one. Yeah, it was very tiring, but nice to be outside. I still believe all the pheasants have families and talk to eachother, but I can see why hunters like hunting. You never know where the bird will fly up from and that's kind of fun anticipating it. Plus, then when they fly up you have to see if it's a hen or rooster (only the roosters are shot). I had several fly up within a few feet of me and scared the CRAP out of me. But it was all good fun.
